Hi. In the context of my apprenticeship, I have been given the task to create a Service Portal for a fictive company with notably an IT Kiosk to propose a resolution of frequent problems to end-users.
I thought to integrate Walk Up Experience in Service Portal to realize this task.
After I have installed the Walk-Up plugin, I passed through the Guided Set-Up and I added sn_walkup.admin, sn_walkup_manager and sn_walkup_login roles to my ESS user account, but when I try to access to the application,
I obtain the message : "Sorry, you are not authorized to access the walk-up pages. For security reasons, walk-up pages are limited to users with the sn_walkup.walkup_login role only.
However, when I watch on roles of my user account, I see the role sn_walkup.walkup_login is in the list of roles.
Any idea why this message is displayed and I don't arrive to access to Walk-Up Portal ?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Hi TC,
It's been a while since I've worked with the 'Walk-Up Experience' but I recall having a very similar issue.
From memory I believe you have to use the sn_walkup.walkup_login role in isolation. You cannot have any other 'sn_walkup' roles if you have the login role.
Can you remove the sn_walkup.admin, sn_walkup_manager and sn_walkup_login roles and ensure you only have the sn_walkup.walkup_login role.
Please let me know if that solved the issue.
To help others in the community, please mark correct and / or helpful.
Thanks,
Robbie

Hi TC - Thanks for marking my response Helpful.
Did removing the other sn_walkup roles resolve the issue?
Thanks,
Robbie

In fact, I haven't still been able to test it.
I have marked helpful, because it seemed to me a probable solution, but I have a conflict with the snc_internal role when I try to create an ESS user with sn_walkup.walkup_login role.
I receive the message "Operation interrupted: explicit role collision. User 'eric.teller' has conflicting role 'snc_internal'. All explicit role collisions in hierarchy must be addressed. See documentation for more information" quand I try to associate the two roles.
But in the same time, when I use the explicit role "snc_external" instead "snc_internal", which seems to work with "sn_walkup.walkup_login", I haven't access to my apps.
