What is a module in Service now ?

I want to learn Servicenow from Begining. Please explain what is a module in Servicenow >

In Servicenow Left navigation Pane. Application are used. Here, Problem is an Application and "Create New" is a module for that application. You can have multiple modules for single application.   Refer section5 to know how to create a module and its link types.

Just to add, you can create modules of related information and functionality under one name in the application menu.
