My colleague and I are having trouble between Canada/Eastern and EST timezones. His default timezone is EST, while mine is Canada/Eastern. I assume the two timezones are just the same -5 behind with UTC, but what I observed the Canada/Eastern has an hour offset for DST while the EST has a fixed -5 hours behind with UTC without an hour offset for DST. Could someone confirm or enlightened us if my assumption is correct?

Hi @makku22
Yes you are correct!
Canada/Eastern is typically considered as EDT in ServiceNow atleast. That's the reason you see the Daylight offset when you use Canada/Eastern.
