I know there's already an OOB workflow for creating a standard change proposal. However, for best practice purposes, I've created a copy of the original workflow to make updates to the approval process. Does anyone know where to go to activate a new workflow for the standard change proposal?

Its built into the workflow conditions. I just tested it by backing my own copy and doing some tweaks. Once I published my workflow it followed that flow instead of the original one.

Hey Brian,
Thanks for your response. Do I need to Check Out or deactivate the original? Cause it's still in the published state. And now that I have 2 workflows that are published, it seems both might be triggering simultaneously cause I'm getting a mix of approval groups.

You're right! It looks like the original also needs to remain in the published state as well. Not sure how it knows to run the copied version but it's working. Thank you!

It makes a new version of the workflow and always uses the new version going forward. Its easier to explain with Service Catalog. So lets say you update a workflow for an item, like adding another approval step. But before you move it into prod someone put in a request for that item. That specific request it tied to the original workflow but going forward all others will be tied to the new version.
