I have hosted Mid Server in my AD. and im successfully getting the Mid Server Status "Up" and Validated "Yes".
Also i have configured LDAP and fetched all the Users and Group from AD.
and know i want to update the password of AD from ServiceNow for that i have created Orchestration Credentials.
In that im trying to add Windows Credentials but i m facing Authentication Failure.
How this can be resolved?
in UserName i have provided Domain/User and password according to AD Server password.
when im clicking Test Credentials there i have provided IP Address as per AD Server IP Address and selected the Mid Server which is Validated "Yes" and Status is "Up".
But its giving Authentication Failed
Please Checkout the ScreenShot...!!!
And After clicking on OK it showing me Authentication Failed as per ScreenShot

You must be local admin in the AD server. Then it will work fine.
I had the same issue. Mark this correct answer if it resolved your query.
Thanks,
