Abstract:
Verizon Media has more than 1000 teams that deploy tens of thousands of changes to their production applications. Given the diverse business needs, their legacy change management system could not scale or support their demands. They were able to leverage the ServiceNow Change Management application and Service Portal framework to build out a comprehensive and customizable system for the enterprise. Using the power of Service Portal, they combined ServiceNow’s core components, such as CMDB and approval engine, with UI frameworks to build a consumer grade web application for supporting the complex business process.
