Abstract: Have you wondered how maintenance rules and CMDB relationships function within Event Management? Thought about adding to the out-of-the-box functionality but not sure how to add rules to the existing Event Management functionality? In this session, I will review how CMDB relationships and maintenance rules work out of the box with ServiceNow. After reviewing the default functionality, I will dive into how to utilize the out-of-the-box functionality, and also different ways to add your own functionality using maintenance rules to suit your organization's needs.
