Abstract:

Join this session to discover how the City of San Diego gained control of IT using the demand and project modules. By integrating governance control gates and workflow, the city now has executive visibility into budgetary decisionmaking over IT initiatives, control over IT procurement and expenditures, and processes that align new technology with the current technology landscape. This session will demonstrate the end-to-end process, all of which aligns with best practices from the PMI and ITIL frameworks and overcomes challenges frequently encountered in government agencies.
