Knowledge 19 attendance Numbers?

Has anyone seen estimates on attendance for this years knowledge?  I remember last year being around 18,000 and it was at the same venue and crowds were overwhelming at times.  Every session I went to was completely full and hallways packed moving between sessions.  I can't see how this venue could hold more than that.  I am hoping with year 2 at this venue maybe crowd management might improve.

Estimate as of last week was 20,000.

Wow 20,000 is larger than last year.  I hope the venue can support those numbers.  I am really excited and am looking forward to Knowledge next week but I am concerned about the crowd size.  Glad I booked the convenience package again and am staying at the Palazzo so I can escape to my room for a bit to get a break from the crowds.  Last year there was not much space to sit and take a break between sessions.  Every seating area was always crammed full of people and I found myself walking back to my room for a place to sit.

That is the reason I am not going this year.. I attend several times the event at Mandalay bay and that was perfect. Enough space and great catering. Also attend the one in Orlando and again great event with enough space (some said it was too big)

But last year it was moved to Venetian & Sands Expo Center and I found it too crowded with bad catering.  And now with 20,000+ I was not looking forward to it. So I skip this year and will read the comments to see it is improved.

Can't believe that as it is to small venue and catering at the "parking garage" is not a networking event.

That general issue I had with this venue that there are no (quiet) sitting areas to do some networking. Every seating area is crammed. I had that issue not with Mandalay bay/Orlando.

Same.  Orlando was my first and it was awesome.  Last year was a little crowded (especially after the first keynote -> first session).  Maybe it's time for Knowledge20 East and Knowledge20 West?
