What is the difference between Knowledge article view count and reads ?

While extracting a report, we see three main columns in kb_knowledge table to understand KA analytics. However "view count" and "reads" columns seems redundant but there is mismatch in the numbers "89" and "77"?
Any insights..

Hi @Tarun Raj ,

OOTB , i don't see any field called "Reads" , i believe your internal development team has renamed it, what i am thinking is , it's something to do with "Can read" am guessing. See below :

find_real_file.png

View Count - Number of times article has been viewed.

Use Count - Would refer to how many times article has been attached to a record

Mark my answer correct & Helpful, if Applicable.

Thanks,

Sandeep,

A maybe related question: Why would I see a drastically different number of Views on an article when opened via the KB and viewed, 2 for this specific article; when compared to looking in the kb_use.list and searching on field Article Summary, 12 for this specific article.
