Hi

you can install a free plugin to create PDF files of your Dashboards:

See https://docs.servicenow.com/csh?version=latest&topicname=t_ExportAHomePageOrDashboardToPDF for more information.

Kind regards
Maik

Hi Maik, I did install the free plugin for pdf and i did manage to see menu item "Export to PDF" in my instance but this time when i export the pdf from my dashboard, the pdf is blank and i can't see any of the charts i have created. I don't know why? What am i doing wrong? I thought ServiceNow tool is easy to operate but i never imagined that just to do an export to pdf is a big struggle.

Maik, Thanks for your contribution as well. You are not forgotten.

I am surprised to go through this exercise. Why does it take a installation of plugin, elevation of admin role and few changes to the system properties just to achieve a printing of pdf with the so called next experience UI on San Diego instance.

Service Now must immediately rectify this to make it easy for anyone who can access the Dashboard and see the report contents must be able to print out as pdf or any other format easily.

Hi @YASHIK

I cannot tell you reason behind that strategy, but you could raise a Support ticket to address you issues directly or check whether in the idea portal there is already an idea about that you could support.

And there is also another really simple approach to get a PDF version of your Dashboard. Just open it in the printer-friendly version and then print to a PDF file.

Kind regards
Maik
