Approval Workflows with Ownership Groups

With Ownership Groups activated, is it possible to still include approval from the Knowledge Base managers/owner as part of the publish workflow? Or is the only option to have the Ownership Group members be the sole approval required?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Hi Jared! I'm pretty new to SN but I believe the answer is yes. There are a couple of workflows set up to choose from in our system, but I'm not sure if they are custom or out of the box. In any case, our primary knowledge base requires one approval from the ownership group and second/final approval from Knowledge Base manager/owner. We have the ability to reject, at which point it goes back to draft status. This applies to both publication and retirement. (We have one smaller knowledge base that is set to Instant Publish, as a special case group.)

Thank you, Sara! This is helpful. It sounds like it is possible, which is ultimately all I needed to know. Whether or not that workflow is a customization is irrelevant for my team right now as we are merely experimenting with how Ownership Groups work. So, I appreciate the input!
