Features of knowledge V3 homepage that is not available in knowledge management portal

Hello experts,
Browsing on all the feature comparison on knowledge V3 homepage and knowledge management service portal, there is a lot of features that won't be available that is utilized frequently by users.

Will there be a plan to bring those features back? Or are there any workaround to add the features to the knowledge management service portal?

One of such examples is about the language picker which is only available in knowledge homepage,

Do you of any way to add the language picker to the knowledge management portal?

The knowledge portal is built using Service Portal. You can get the langauge switcher from the ESC portal profile page and load it on any page or header/footer of the KB portal and it will work as expected.

Your answer is about the language switch which will change the whole portal language. The correct widget should be the knowledge language facet. Though your answer gave me the idea for the language selection menu.
