How can Knowledge Managers publish Draft Articles?

Hi community,

we have a knowledge base (Known Error) with 3 Knowledge Managers.

As part of their work, they want to now and then filter for Draft articles that got "left behind" and publish them.

However, they don't have the option to publish these articles (which were created by others).

How do we achieve this in a simple way?

We are on Vancouver, and have enabled Advance Knowledge plugin & versioning.

The Known Error knowledge base uses the instant publishing & retire workflows.

With the Instant Publish workflow you are able to have articles in a draft state and others make changes/publish them. The Approval workflow would only be used if you want to give some users the ability to Submit/Edit articles that go into the Review state, and have them verified/approved by a defined Approval group before those changes are visible for the end user.

What Tommy is describing will not be fixed by putting an approval workflow in place.
