Hi,

Could you please let me know how to create a hyperlink on bullet points to jump on certain sections in a knowledge article?

Please check the attached screenshot

We know the KBA KB0529465  which described the target of the hyperlink but we do not know how to achieve the above-mentioned objective.

Please help.

Hi Julie,

Thanks for your response.

In ServiceNow KBA creation editor does not have an anchor. I am not sure how to add this.

We've been using these for some time.  Interestingly, the anchor icon shows up, and if we preview the article using the view article link, it works fine.  However, sometimes when we click save it strips it out.  I have found that the location of where you place it matters.  For example, a link to return to the top of the page requires an anchor/bookmark at the top, but if I add it on line 1 in the html, before the first sentence which is on line 2, it gets stripped out.  If I insert it before the first letter on line 2 or beyond in the html, then it seems to stay put.  Then, after you save/publish the article, if you click the link it works once and then stops working.  You have to close the article and relaunch or refresh the page for the bookmark to work a second time.  And, to take it a step further, if it is a link in the top that jumps to a section further down the page, it takes you to the appropriate section, and after a second or 2 it goes back to the top.  Anyone else seeing these crazy glitches?
