Knowledge Article template not applying?

Hi All!

 

I have made changes to an existing knowledge article template field (the change is to the table properties, colour etc.) -

I go to create a new knowledge article using the template, the sample text shows the changes -

However, when I select next and go into the new article, the template changes are not appearing -

Any help on why this is happening and how to fix would be appreciated!

You have added to the preview text.

 

If you wanted to have that table to be there during a new article creation, the fields would need to have the "default" value updated.

 

I would recommend however using a "form" template (I hate how it's called the same) so that you can apply the text. The templates can be accessed by the toggling the template bar in the top right:
