Recommendations for Knowledge Training

Hello,

Does anyone have any good recommendations for self-paced and/or virtual training classes for Knowledge Management? We've had our knowledge practice in place for a couple of years, but I've only recently been given the option to take some classes about it, so I'm open to any ideas. Thank you!

If you are interested in writing style training, I recommend "Writing in Plain English" by Judy Steiner-Williams on Linked-In Learning.

This 2 hour course gives principles for how to write so your content can be quickly read and quickly understood.  I have even found myself using these principles when writing emails and creating presentations.

Thanks, everyone, for the great ideas. I shared several of these with my manager, so will jump into a few of them soon.

Hi Tasha,

The Consortium for Service Innovation (CSI) provides a page with all of the training options offered in either online courses (some with certification exams) or workshops led by KCS Certified Trainers and associated exams here: https://www.serviceinnovation.org/kcs/kcs-training/

The CSI online self-paced course, KCS v6 Fundamentals, has a certification exam and option to purchase with the exam in a bundle. On passing the exam, you receive an industry-recognized KCS v6 Fundamentals Certification badge.  As an alternative to the self-paced KCS v6 Fundamentals you might like to check out our KCS v6 Overview Workshop (with exam prep and voucher) led by our KCS v6 Certified Trainers: catalynk.co/workshops
