Subscription to ServiceNow Portal Announcement Knowledge Base and individual Portal Article

With user criteria we use announcements to broadcast messages to Service Portal users. Announcements are displayed in an announcement banner on the Portal Homepage for specific users. I would like to know how to let users subscribe to this Announcement Knowledge Base, and to individual announcement articles?

Hi Pawan,

You can create a custom widget or menu item for your Service Portal asking user to subscribe to announcements then you can present the list of Announcements to them by fetching all the Announcements from the announcement table. Whatever announcement they select you can make that announcement active in the background and add logged in user in the user criteria also. (By default make all the announcement inactive and don't add any user criteria also).

If user do not want the announcement then user will perform above steps again and deselect the announcement this will remove the user from the user criteria.
