Hi all,
I need a help to understand the below scenario :
Translated versions (Attached screenshot for reference) in service now are separate articles in different languages that contain the same content (e.g., one English main copy and others in different languages).
They’re linked as translations, so readers automatically see the article in their language. If their language isn’t available, they see the default version.
When I tried to create the article clicking new but it is taking to new article creation and also not having an option to attach the existing knowledge articles!
How can I attach the existing knowledge article (different language) to the main article in service now? I have knowledge manager role.
Thanks in Advance!

Hello!
Assuming the circumstances of your ServiceNow well configured in terms of Knowledge Management, if you have the rol of Knowledge Manager, and your knowledge manager approval group is linked to the Configuration Item/Business Service (if it's the case), when clicking on "NEW" at the translations tab, it prompts to a New draft version linked to the main article (it shows parent: KBXXXX) , however you should change the language in the options! (see attached).
In case you do not see this correctly, may it's a configuration issue for the plugin
Cheers!

Will we be able to existing article as translated version?
For eg: If KB0001234 is an english article and KB000789XX is Korean version of the same english article ( KB0001234) will I be able to link the existing korean version to the english version.
Right now its taking me to a new draft to create a fresh article!

You don't want to create a new one, so don't click new. Instead go to the top of the existing article and fill in the field at the top that says 'translated from'.

Hi @gopunkutty,
Could you please share a screenshot of what you see after clicking New in the Translated Versions related list?
When I impersonate a user with only the knowledge_manager role and create a translated version from the Translated Versions related list, I can see the Translated from field, which allows me to attach the existing knowledge article.
If my response helped, please mark it as the accepted solution so others can benefit as well.
