Use case request: Allowing External Customer Access to Knowledge Articles in a SN instance/portal

We have a sales contract renewal use case for an external customer that wants access to our internal "lessons learned" Knowledge articles regarding different software applications. Currently, only our employees have access to our SN instances - is there a way to carve out an "external viewing area" for Knowledge articles? Or a way to "whitelist" the customer domain to view?
Our sales team wants them to be able to safely view these internal resources - the only way we see a possibility at this point is to whitelist their domain for Sharepoint company content, but that means manually transferring the list of SN Knowledge articles over to our Sharepoint pages. Why wouldn't we be able to achieve the same in ServiceNow?
I think the hindrance may be the urgency of the request, since it would take dev time to create an externally accessible SN portal instance...thoughts? Anyone run into this type of scenario before?
