With AI Search Engine implemented, it´s still required to keep Meta field enabled

When implemented AI on the search for Knowledge Articles, it´s removed the Meta field as it´s expected AI to start learning the user and company behaviour to present the closest article.

The question is: are there any other field that contributors can include meta data or synonyms on the article? or its still suggested to keep meta field and consider it on the search and AI tables?

Thanks

Hi @Mary Beth Hutch and @Welington Fecch did either of you figure out how to solve this?
With AI Search active, it kicks out Meta as a searchable source. Obviously this makes the search engine weaker, as it has less sources to search through. Did you figure out how to re-apply Meta, or any other similar field for this?

Hi Joakim, we decided to bring Meta Field back to production and make it mandatory and search results got improved. Hope that helps.

Okey, that's the plan here too. But how did you accomplish this? Do you still use AI Search with it?

Hi Joakim - we chose to create the various synonyms to ensure the relevancy engine could do its job correctly, and present applicable results. It was not as daunting of an exercise as I expected!

Been looking into the synonyms as well. Is it really just that simple to expand the dictionary? We've just added Pages to be searchable, and that was quite complex... The synonyms solution feels a lot easier now than the Meta/Tags to be searchable so.
