How can I grant someone access to a Legal Matter Task they are not assigned to?

We have a Legal Matter where we create Matter Tasks for groups OUTSIDE the usual legal fulfillers.
We have created three groups with sn_lg_matter.matter_fulfiller / sn_lg_ops.request_fulfiller roles and added these non-Legal team users to them.
Then we created a notification to go to the non Legal groups.
And the link to the task on that notification does not work for members of those groups.
We want all members of the group able to see the Matter Task that is assigned to their group in the workspace view. Then they are to assign it to a member of the group.
NOTE - if the Matter Task is ASSIGNED to one of the group members they CAN SEE the task.

Check on the ACL's and/or query business rules that are currently preventing them from seeing it. Adjust them to be 'read' by any groupmember.

Adding the user as a Collaborator may be an option too.
