Modules for Operational Technology

[SNOW Patrol]

I went through the Now Learning content called "Operational Technology (OT) Essentials", it mentions four distinct apps or modules that are part of the OT suite:

1. OT Manager

2. Industrial Process Manager

3. OT VR (Vulnerability Response)

4. OT SM (Service Management) - Incident and Change

I have some questions:

1. What are the names of the exact plugins I need to install from the Application Manager, to activate each one of these 4? I understand that OT Manager and / or Industrial Process Manager are pre-requisites for OT VR and OT SM.

2. As part of the OT Essentials class, you get a pre-configured lab instance. In the UI of this Lab instance, it is not readily apparent when you are in the "OT Manager" application, and when you are inside "Industrial Process Manager" application. I see an application menu in the filter navigator called "Operational Technology", and there is a Workspace called "Industrial Workspace". I'm unable to tell if you only get the "Industrial Workspace" after installing Industrial Process Manager, as the lab instance was pre-configured.

3. Is the OT dependency mapping only part of the Industrial Process Manager app? It seems to be the case, but I'm not sure if you have the "View OT Dependency map" option in the UI without installing the IP Manager app.

Hi there,

1. Here are the modules that you would need to install:
   1. Operational Technology Manager
   2. Discovery for Operational Technology
   3. Operational Technology Vulnerability Response
   4. Operational Technology Incident Management

   5. Industrial Process Manager

   6. Service Graph Connector Dependencies (if you are planning on installing any of the IDS integrations)

2. The industrial workspace ships with OTM
3. Yes, it ships with IPM

Thank you, this is quite helpful. So to the second point, the IPM really adds the ability to modify the Equipment Entity model, if I understand correctly?
