Input form screen not loading prefill variable value

Hi Community,

I've been struggling for a few days on an issue with the Mobile App Builder. Been trying to browse NowLearning, but the content there is really too high level and is not helping me figure out what is going wrong.

I've been (re)configuring the Mobile Agent App for our customer (using ITSM and ITAM among other products). I have managed through replication/trial and errors to have it work more or less as I want it to except for one part.

For the asset part, they only want to be able to scan an asset, have the information from the asset and update a few fields. I started with the OOB "Update asset" action and built on it.

It's mostly working fine except for the location field not loading the initial value as prefilled in the input form screen of the action.

It's working fine for all the other fields but this one, which I find very strange, as I didn't modify this one (that I can recall), and as I was able to add more fields in the input screen that weren't there before and make them work, I confused (and a bit frustrated) that this wouldn't work.

I have attached a few screenshots to help understanding my issue.

Any help figuring this out would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Does it make any difference if you simply use "location" instead of "location.full_name" as Value in the FieldName variable attribute?

Can't believe something so simple did the trick. Especially when that location.full_name is the OOB setup.
