Mobile Agent QR / Barcode scanning is not working (button for scanning is not appearing on the form).

Dear Colleagues,

We are currently implementing a functionality to enable our Agents scan Bar Codes and QR codes no Servicenow Mobile Agent App. We have created new field with type "string" and we added Attribute "Enable barcode scanner" with a value of "true", however in the Mobile Agent when we go to the view there is no icon (near the field) which will enable us to actually scan the code.

Do you have any ideas what we are missing ?

Hello Greg,

We have a way to configure a button to scan QR/Barcode in Agent/Now App using applet

This tutorial will help you to create a button and associate to a function [ui parameter and action parameters]
