In Platform Analytics, I have a dashboard where the user can pick a project (filter pill), then the appropriate reports update based on that filter. Which is working as expected. I am pulling from the pm_Project table for all the visualizations. We have a system diagram image for each project we have created in Visio or powerpoint and stored as a PNG or jpeg in SharePoint.
What I would like to happen: When the user picks a project, a field or image visualization dynamics filters to the image associated to that project.
What I have tried & what happened: 1) Using a html field in the project record and inserting an image. This is displayed as html code when pulled into platform analytics rather than rendering the image. 2) Using a image field in the record, similar to user id photo and show in a list view. It shows in the project fine but is so small in a list view it is basically useless. 3) I don't know how but I would like to use the image visualization because I can resize and get a good quality picture, but I can't figure out how to have it follow the dynamic filtering.
I am not using the advanced designer for platform analytics as I do not have access to that and was told it in general what I am trying to achieve is impossible. Any thoughts? If there is any way to do this, I really need help, and all my reddit posts are being ignored about this topic 😃
thanks in advance!
