Hi Community,
I am looking for a technical explanation regarding the Compliance Score (Percentage) roll-up logic for Entity Types in GRC (Policy and Compliance Management).
According to the ServiceNow documentation, the Entity Type compliance score is the "Average of compliance scores of all the entities under it." However, my current data suggests the system is prioritizing the Control Objective score over the raw average of the Entities.
Data Set:
Total Entities under the Type: 5
Entity A: 100%
Entity B: 100 %
Entity C: 0 %
Entity 😧 0 %
Entity E: 0 %
Mathematical Average of Entities: = 100+100+0+0+0 by 5 *100 = 40 %
Associated Control Objective Score: 67%
Final Entity Type Score Displayed: 67%
The Issue:
The Entity Type is displaying 67%, which matches the single Control Objective linked to it, rather than the 40 %average of all entities listed.
