Do you have a customer who prefers a cleaner, more tailored navigation experience in Agent Workspace? For example, in our case, the customer didn’t want to display icons such as Move Management, Event Planner, or Schedule Planner in the side navigation since they hadn’t configured or used those features.
After a bit of exploration, I found that removing these unused icons is actually quite straightforward using UI Builder.
✅ Steps to Add or Remove Icons from the Side Navigation:
- Navigate to:
Now Experience Framework > UI Builder - Under the “Experiences” tab, locate and select the relevant line item (e.g., Workplace Central)
- Click on “View experience settings” in the top-right corner.
- Scroll down to the “Side Navigation” section.
Here, you’ll be able to:
- Remove icons that are not needed by clicking the trash icon next to the item.
- Add new icons by using the “+ Add” option at the bottom of the section.
This gives you full control over the navigation experience and allows for a cleaner, user-focused UI based on each customer’s specific use case.

@Rohit Sudhakar The Add button is hidden for us. How do we enable it? Also when a module is removed from showing up on the landing page, can it be added back at a later stage?

Hi @muktha1 can you check if your user has the UI Builder Admin role. Its likely to be an issue with permissions, roles. You may try clearing your cache as well. Also explore if there are any custom scripts which may be controlling the visibility of the Add button.
Yes, there are no restrictions for adding back a previously removed module. Hope this helps!!

I tried doing that. It works for some icons, but not for some others.
What I mean is, we’re also seeing some icons in the workspace that don’t appear in the "side navigation" menu that shows up when you click on "View Experience Settings."
Those Icons are not appearing in the below "Side navigation" Section
Ref: please see below screenshot
My Observation here is :
Those highlighted items in the sidebar navigation is present in the Different different applications
- We want to remove every item from the sidebar except Home, List, and Inbox.
How can I achieve this?
Do we need to go to each specific application item and modify the JSON code meaning remove all the roles in the JSON and set it to ‘Nobody’?
Or is there any other possible way?”
