Announcements and Outages banners

Hello - We currently use the Announcement banner feature when notifying the business of an outage. 

 

I was wondering if this announcement that is shown in the Employee Center to be also shown in the Service Operations Workspace too under Announcements.  

 

From what I see, they are managed in 2 different locations.

  1. Employee Center:  Service Portal > Announcements
  2. Service Operation Workspace:  Service Portfolio Management > Outages
 

Basically the request is one announcement showing up in both locations.

Yes, they're two separate things. One table is just called announcement, the other sys_ux_banner_announcement. You could write a business rule/flows to keep them in sync if you'd like to manage them from a single place, but there's not an OOTB way to do that.
