Application Picker and Update Set name now is showing in Next Experience

Hi there!

I know this is a known request of the community but I realised today that my PDI is showing that. I didn't do anything to that works. I'm just curious.

Does anyone know if ServiceNow is testing this feature in PDIs?

Thank you!

Hi Joatan,

That is actually added by the snutils browser extension which you must have installed, not the instance itself.

In Vancouver, we did add the ability to toggle on a utility bar that will show all the pickers on it below the header.

Hi, Brad!

Sure. Make sence. I realised that my SN Utils extension was updated and now that's showing for me.

Thank you!

Hey Brad,

I need help finding the documentation for enabling the new Vancouver utility bar.  The funny thing is that I had it active once on our test environment but cloned over it.  It was a new system property record, but I can't find where I did it before.  I found the reference in the release notes, but I couldn't find anything about enabling it.

Thanks!

Hi @Derek Jones!

I think I can help you...

You bet! Now it's working in Vancouver!
