Can anybody explain how do tabs in Workspace work?

I have been struggling with this issue. In order to solve it, I have been trying to find the "Request" tab in the UI Builder, and I think I have found it. Now the problem is that I don't know how it works. I'll try to explain what I found:

  • If you navigate to the "UI Builder", access the "Record" page in the "Service Operations Workspace" and look for the "Request" tab, you find that this tab is included in the "SOW - Record tabs left". After a long research, I have located this element in the table "UX Extension Point [sys_ux_extension_point]"

  • Once located this record, I can see that it has two related lists: "UX App Routes []" and "UX Screens [sys_ux_screen]". Fortunately, the first one mentioned contains exactly a record with the name "Request", which I suppose that would be related to the tab I am investigating.

  • I have also found this article that seems to have a little idea on how UX Screens work and related to UX App Routes, but it is not much complete.

My question is: can anybody explain how this tabs work? Where must the content of this tab be defined? How could I eliminate the columns that I commented in this case? If somebody can explain it to me, I would be very grateful!

Thanks in advance!
