Custom Component in CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace Causing Functional Issues

Hi everyone,

We have developed a custom component for the CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace. This component is embedded in the contextual side panel of the case details page to display insights.

Initially, the component worked perfectly. Recently, some core functionalities in ServiceNow have stopped working when the component is active. However, we found that:

  1. If we remove the component, the functionalities work fine again.
  2. If we reinstall the component, the functionalities also start working correctly.

Has anyone experienced similar issues where custom components affect workspace functionality? What could be causing this behavior, and what would be the best way to debug and prevent it from happening again?

There's not really enough detail in the post to know how to answer this. What exactly does the component do, how does it do it, and then what is no longer working on the page?
