Excluded tables on workspace list action

Hi all,

I was wondering why some tables are in the action exclusion table, such as asset and hardware assets.

If I wanted to make edit button to show up on the hardware asset table, are there any consequences for removing hardware asset table from the action exclusion list?

Hi @janetakiyam

Typically, we exclude the table and create a new Declarative Action for it, incorporating specific modifications such as conditions.

Sample in your case with the sn_customerservice_case.

Thank @Tai Vu for your fast reply

So if I wanted to add an edit button for alm_hardware table, which is also included in the "Action Exclusion" table, I would create a new edit button rather than removing it from the exclusion list.

If I don't need to add specific conditions for using the edit button on alm_hardware table, would I just remove it from the exclusion table so that the edit button becomes visible?

Thanks

Janet
