How to change the date format of a next experience filter component in ui builder

Hello everyone, @Brad Tilton 

I want to edit the date format of a Next Experience filter component of type date. Currently, it's displaying in a different format, and I'd like to change it to DD.MM.YYYY. What do I need to do to change the format of this component?

I found only one close to yours on the picture and that's now-date-time, which has option to add format pattern in configuration TAB as shown below.
