Hi

I see variables column present on list view in workspaces ,but i am only able to use this in filter but not in list view to add variables on to the form through list layout configuration, this works in reports though, why this is shown in list view ? can we configure variables on to the list view using this?

Hi @Liyakhat  ,

Workspaces are a bit difficult sometimes, To understand the variables, let's take an example of an catalog items variables , You have a catalog item and it has various variables in it, it could be a Test field, Choice, Multi choice, checkbox, so on. Now, you want to see these variables on the list view, then you need to selct the Variables option and select which variables you want to see.

but if you want to test it as what this variables actually looks like , then refer to this Article : https://www.servicenow.com/community/itsm-articles/adding-catalog-items-variables-as-columns-in-list...
