Recently, while debugging an Agentic Workflow, we ran into an issue where the workflow was not appearing in the Now Assist panel. The development team mentioned that they were able to activate it from AI Agent Studio, but each time they returned, the agentic workflow was not active.

If you ever face a similar scenario, the root cause may not be obvious from the UI. Sometimes, you may find that an Agentic Workflow (Use Case) cannot be activated directly from the AI Agent Studio. If you encounter this issue, navigate to the Use Case Configuration Overrides table (sn_aia_usecase_config_override) and locate the record associated with your Agentic Workflow.

Enable the Active checkbox and click Update. Once saved, your Agentic Workflow will be activated and will appear correctly within the AI Agent Studio as well as in Now Assist Panel.

Bonus Tip :

If you’re working in a domain‑separated instance, multiple records may exist for the same Agentic Workflow across different domains. Make sure you activate the workflow in the correct domain—the one where your Now Assist capabilities are enabled.
