I am working on a use case where a user initiates a request through the Portal, Mobile, or Virtual Agent and uploads supporting documents such as receipts, and reference letters.
The steps are:
User uploads the documents using a Record Producer (or temporary request record).
The uploaded files are attached to this request.
My question:
➡️ Is it possible to use Generative AI / Now Assist to automatically read the uploaded documents and populate the Record Producer fields with the extracted information?
If yes, could you please guide me on:
Which Now Assist capability is most suitable ?
Whether the extraction can happen during the Record Producer submission, or only after the record is created?
Any known examples, best practices, or limitations?
