Meta keyword is not showing any result

Hello All,

We have ''mind'' meta on catalog item .when i search with this key word on portal .it is not showing any result. this is happening with the only this keyword. It is working fine in dev and test. issue is in only prod. any suggestions?

Ahoy @sonimore101,

 

check the item(s) associated with "mind" meta value and its configurations. Perhaps you don't see that item because of user criteria or any other reason.

 

For example this:

To debug, you can do following:

  • Add a test meta word (e.g. "coriander") to the "mind" item
  • Save, clear cache and then search for both "mind" and "coriander", what results you got:
    • Only "coriander" found = meta issue,
    • Neither found = item issue somewhere else regardless the meta values.

 

  • Add "mind" as meta to another item,
  • Then search for "mind":
    • Other items appear = problem is specific to the original item,
    • Nothing appears = "mind" itself may be the problem.

 

  • Misalignment in environments, compare DEV/TEST with PROD,
    • check for the last changes in that item, portal widgets or meta words..
