Hi community,
I am a little bit confused with the term subscription, roles and application in subscription management application.
Can I understand that way that 1 subscription = 1 roles per person, while the role control both what you can do and which application you have access to.
In addition, is the concept license existent within ServiceNow? i don't find it quite often.
Thank you community.

Hi @major li
As per my knowledge-
subscriptions refer to the active, ongoing contract, usually annual, that allows access to those licensed products.
licenses refer to the specific entitlements or rights purchased

hi @Tanushree Maiti ,
actually I have these questions after I completed the course.
Does it mean 1 subscription = multiple license (1 license 1 user if subscription type = per user), specific for an application, which will include different roles?

Hi @major li
Your confusion will be cleared once you check Subscription management in your client instance.
Subscription comes up product wise like , per product available license would be there .
ITSM
ITOM
App Engine
GRC
etc
for example. for ITSM , 10 ITIL/fulfiller licenses are available , if you allocate it to 7 users, then 3 license will be left.
Hope it is clear now.
