Virtual Agent – How do you run AI Search from an LLM Topic?

Question about Now Assist in Virtual Agent.


In an LLM Topic, I want to take the user’s free-text question (captured via the LLM text input) and then execute AI Search based on that text.

 

However:
In the LLM Topic canvas, there is no OOTB “AI Search” topic block (the one that exists for NLU topics).
Also, I can’t migrate the NLU AI Search topic block into an LLM Topic at all (migration itself fails / isn’t supported).


How are people implementing this pattern?
If you’ve done this successfully, could you share your experience.

  Is there any Reason for having Exclusive AI Search Block?

 

When user opens Now Assist for VA ...After Greeting Topics it goes for SEARCH what user Types.

Yes, I know but if user types directly after greetings, the chat log can be seen a lot of users who has workspace user role.

In my scenario, I would like to prepare new topic for HR inquiry where user often types personal information. I don't want to show its logs for them.
