Which field does Now Assist in Virtual Agent search for catalog item?

Hi,

I have activated Now Assist in Virtual Agent and Now Assist in AI search in my instance and am doing some test to know its behaviors.

I have found that VA sometimes return unrelated catalog items.

Do you know which fields are used for searching related items?

I would like to share this behaviors with service catalog owners so that they can improve their catalog items.

Meta Keywords (meta) – Keywords that improve search accuracy. If catalog items lack Meta Keywords, the search relies more on descriptions, which may lead to less accurate results. You can add relevant synonyms, abbreviations, and common search terms for each item. Add appropriate tags to boost keyword matching.

Short Description is an important field, but it is not the only factor—the AI may also consider Title and Description. If unrelated catalog items appear in Virtual Agent responses, it could be due to incomplete or misleading data in these fields.
