How to get rid of Request automatically approved for total price <= $1000

Hi,

I have a generic catalog item to receive Suggestions from users. There's no price no approval to it. But I am getting following in the additional comments

Request automatically approved for total price <= $1000

I am not using OOB workflow and the workflow in use does not have automatic approval activity. How can this be ignored for particular item.

Thanks Mark, It gave me some clarity though I found out that someone had already removed it from the workflow. I also had to do away with 'Catalog Request Default Approval' Approval rule.

Hi there,

This is due to the out-of-the-box Service Catalog Request workflow which runs on the sc_request.

The specific message you are mentioning comes from the second Set Values utility:

I found the comment in the workflow but I could not find the 'Catalog Request Default Approval' Approval rule. I guess I'll have to dig for it once I talk our people into blowing this stupid comment away... unless I get lucky and it doesn't exist.
