Migrating from Domain Separated MSP Instance to a dedicated instance

We have an request from one of our customers which is currently on MSP instance which intends to migrate to dedicated instance due to some of the constraints.  The customer intends to migrate to the dedicated instance but needs the data and the configuration / customization performed on this MSP instance.

 I have worked with ServiceNow and they provided couple of approaches

 From my  conversations, i found that we can do it with 1. Domain Migration tool 2. REST API Import. 

Apart from the above 2, do you recommend any other ways to migrate the customers instance data and configuration to the dedicated instance? There are some constraints on the domain migration tool as our MSP has blocked the property sys.domain.delegated_administration and hence the migration cannot be done.  Are there any better ways to do it?

You may still do the migration using the migration tool, it will save a lot of effort you. In this case you may need to clone the current production into a sub-production instance, enable the delegated administration and run the migration tool. I would this approach with sub-prod anyway, to make sure that nothing happens with the production.
