Can the Operational Technology Modules and Plugins (OTM, OTSM, OT Discovery, etc...) be added to the default builds in the ServiceNow Developer Instances?
I tried to use the Update Sets that were mentioned in the forums, but this did not capture the module installs that I completed.
I understand this may require a larger default image for spinning up instances but seems like the addition would bring greater visibility to the OT components and capabilities as well as the separations and limitations for folks to learn about.
And would save me a bit of time installing the components again after my dev instance times out 🙂

Plugin installs themselves are not captured in your update set.
You are asking this because you want to speed up how to provision a new PDI, correct? I did publish several blogs on this subject, so you could check that (I need to update them, though still valid).
Kind regards,

Thank you for the info Mark I do appreciate it!
I found a couple blogs that I tried and failed like the update set one that doesn't work 🙂
I did not run across your post but looks like there is a ton of good info and I will take a look at the PDI Fix Script as soon as possible. My schedule the next couple of months is very busy but have favorited your post and will look at it as I have time and follow up to confirm it worked for me.
Still hoping ServiceNow will add it to the default image 🙂
