Standard Deviation is a difficult concept to understand, but provides a MUCH needed tool for orgs that want to understand expected values.
For those of you already using KPI signals, Standard Deviation is how it determines if a Signal actually exists. It does this by knowing that the pattern is outside "the expected deviation from the mean".
With better understanding of Standard Deviation you can gauge how controlled your outcomes really are.
