We have recently upgraded our instances to YOKOHAMA version and we want to migrate our reports and dashboards from Core UI analytics to Platform Analytics, but when I am trying to migrate some specific dashboards just for testing on my lower instance they got stuck on loading. I do not understand what we can do and what is the issue. Do anyone knows or have any idea related to this?

Hi Bhawna,

I understand the challenges you're facing with dashboards getting stuck on loading after migrating to Platform Analytics in the Yokohama release. This issue has been encountered by others as well, and there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve it:

  1. Update Platform Analytics Plugins:

    • Ensure that all Platform Analytics-related plugins are updated to their latest versions.

    • Outdated plugins can cause compatibility issues leading to dashboards not loading properly.

  2. Check for Compatibility Mode:

    • After migration, some dashboards may operate in "Compatibility Mode" if they contain unsupported widgets or configurations.

    • Dashboards in this mode may experience performance issues or fail to load.

    • Review the migration logs to identify which dashboards are in Compatibility Mode and consider updating or replacing unsupported components.

  3. Review Migration Logs:

    • Navigate to the par_coreui_migration_bridge_dashboard table to view logs related to the migration process.

    • Dashboards with issues may have empty fields or error messages indicating problems during migration.

  4. Test in Non-Production Environment:

    • Before migrating dashboards in the production environment, test the migration process in a non-production instance.

    • This allows you to identify and resolve issues without impacting end-users.

  5. Contact ServiceNow Support:

    • If the issue persists after performing the above steps, consider reaching out to ServiceNow Support.

    • They can provide assistance and, if necessary, help roll back the migration or address specific issues.

Hi,

I have checked the plugins and updated the version for platform analytics plugin as well as the version of migration center.
Also, checked the logs- there is something like "This visualization is in compatibility mode because the act as filter feature is not supported on migration. It can be configured manually in a new visualization.", "The dashboard has a missing layout configuration record." and []

Can you please suggest what should be the next step as I am stuck here, do I need to raise HI ticket for this or need to do some manual configuration to fix this?
