As a admin, I created a visual task board with rm_story table. In Visual task board the columns appear with state choices (Draft, In-Progress, Complete etc..,). I wanted to remove few lanes in the board.
Initially I hided the lane by using the option 'Hide lane', even though I am the owner of the board it was applicable only for me, not for all the users who have access to that task board.
How should I remove/ hide lane from the visual task board and it should be applicable for all users who have access to that task board?

Hi Aishwarya,
As its a guided board, it will give an option to delete a lane if the lane is a reference field and it has no cards under it.
Can you please try checking it once removing all cards?
Thanks and Regards,
Rahul

Hi Rahul, the lane is not a reference field, its just a drop-down field (state field in rm_story table) and I do not have delete lane option in the choices.

Hi Aishwarya,
Than, Its not possible to delete the lane as, guided VTB are restricted to this functionality only when that field is a reference field and it contains No cards under it.
The possible workaround for the usecase might be:-
--You can consider creating new custom state field for use, which may require a development effort. ------You can recommend users personally to hide lane and use.
--You can configure the choice of state field and set the inactive=true in the lane you do not wish to see on task board.
Thanks and Regards,
Rahul
