Performance Analytics breakdown queries

I have created a Performance Analytics report based on a custom table and added a breakdown to it.

The table contains two columns Alert and Request which are a reference fields to alert and requested Item table. I want to add a breakdown in my indicator for distinguishing between alerts and request.

Please help me to understand how can I achieve this.

Can you tell me exactly which type of breakdown is required in my case. I went through the documentation provided but unable to identify which breakdown would help me in my case.
