Try for a larger time period by applying a Time series as Month to date AVG.

Did you run historic data collection for last 3 months or 6 months to collect historic data ?

Once you run historic data collection, wait for up to 10 minutes and follow the lab steps, you should get the desired result.

Also make sure you followed below steps by loading the demo data, run historic and daily data collections and dashboard was refreshed,
