Hi Team ,

Good day ! 

need to implement below task in PA .

 

Within a demand ticket, a project is created, and subsequently, project tasks are established. Our goal is to develop a report that comprehensively illustrates the timelines of both the project and its tasks, alongside their progression status.

 

My thought : 

1- we need to create monthly open demand Indicator 

2-we need to create 2 break down for project and task 

Also we need to work with state is InProgress or completed 

how do i associate task to the project?

 

 

Can someone please help me what all steps do i need to follow to achieve this requirement?

Hi @pramn , Do we need to associate the project and tasks. We can create different widgets for the project and tasks separately.

i mean when we open the project we can also see what all tasks are assign to particular project 

creating a separate widget will that work , can you guide me through the steps pls ?

Hi @pramn ,

The approach should be to make separate widget and use different indicators. In the form view we can see the projects and tasks on a single screen but to make a single widget for project as well as task will definitely create issues. Your tasks will increase and the details along with them will also increase. That is why you should make different widgets. You can just show the number of tasks associated with the project on its widget. But you should use different widget for different tasks.

Define separate Performance Analytics indicator sources and indicators for demand tickets, projects, and project tasks by applying breakdowns to distinguish by record type and state (e.g., In Progress vs Completed) and then schedule monthly data collection jobs and visualize their timelines and progress using PA dashboards and widgets. Additionally, use a formula indicator if needed and configure breakdowns to link tasks to their projects, enabling accurate timeline and progress tracking across both items...
